Barn Wedding Receptions
Dinner, toasts, dancing, the parts guests talk about for years — all inside our restored 2,800 sq ft barn.
We’re located just outside Manassas, an easy drive from Northern Virginia, Washington D.C., Fairfax, and Prince William County, so out-of-town guests can get here without a complicated trip.
Our Barn Reception Space
The barn is the heart of Woodbine Farm. Soaring timber beams, ambient Edison lighting, and polished floors give it a warm, finished feel without losing the character of a real farm building. It’s climate-controlled, so your reception isn’t at the mercy of a Virginia summer or a cold snap in December.
Round tables, long farmhouse-style seating, and a dedicated dance floor are all part of the space, along with built-in lighting that sets the mood without extra rental equipment. Whether you’re planning a plated dinner for 60 or a full dance-floor celebration for 150+, the layout adapts to your guest list.
Reception Style: Plated, Buffet, or Cocktail
Woodbine Farm works with plated dinners, buffet-style service, and cocktail-hour setups. Our prep area and kitchen space support both formats, so the choice comes down to your guest count and the experience you want, not a limitation of the venue.
Catering: Bring Your Own or Choose a Preferred Caterer
You can work with one of our preferred caterers or bring in a licensed caterer of your own choosing. Either way, our team helps coordinate timing so food service fits smoothly into your reception schedule.
Dancing, Toasts, and Cocktail Hour
The barn’s dance floor and open layout are built for the parts of the night that make a reception memorable — first dances, toasts, and a full dance floor by the end of the evening. When the weather cooperates, cocktail hour can move outside to the farm grounds or the firepit area, giving guests a change of scenery between the ceremony and the main event.
Reception Capacity and Guest Count
Woodbine Farm’s barn and grounds accommodate receptions from intimate gatherings of around 20 guests up to approximately 150+. During your tour, our team helps you map out the best layout — dinner seating, dance floor space, and bar setup — based on your actual guest count instead of a generic floor plan.
Alcohol and Bar Service
Alcohol is permitted with a licensed and insured bartending service. Event insurance and adherence to Virginia ABC regulations are required, and our team walks you through the requirements during planning so nothing catches you off guard closer to your date.
Decor and Setup
The barn is a blank canvas, so your florals, linens, and personal touches are what make it yours. You’re welcome to bring your own decor. We ask that everything is removed during your contracted breakdown window and that no permanent fixtures go up.
